Couple Pillowcases - Romantic Gifts for Anniversaries & Weddings

Was a perfect gift for valentines!I really like these...they were for my daughter and her partner... they love them...After washing multiple times the pillow case still feels and looks like new. It is a heart warming gift for couples!Why do pillows need cases? It's not like they go on vacation. Or maybe they do (is that what a travel pillow is?) But when do they find the time? They never get days off or anything. Maybe they travel when we're asleep, and that's why sometimes when you wake up your pillow is in a different place from where it was when you went to bed. They wouldn't be able to travel very far in that time, though. Unless they've worked out how to travel at the speed of light. But that's not very likely 'cause pillows generally start working when you go to bed, and it's dark by then, so where would they find the light to travel at the speed of? Then again. before you go to sleep, you turn off the lights, so that means the lights aren't using any light. So maybe the pillows have negotiated a deal with the lights to use the light after the lights go out. (I realize I may be over-thinking this slightly).I can never get to sleep. And 'cause I lie awake all night my pillows never get any time off, so they can't go on vacation, which would explain why neither myself nor my pillows know very much about pillow cases.Oh, I see... this product is a different type of case entirely... well forget everything I just said then.As one of the many people in a long distance relationship, I had to pull the trigger. The cotton is decent quality, but the thread count isn't very high. I normally use 500 thread count cotton bed sets but once I replaced one of my pillowcases with this is could immediately tell the difference in quality.That said, it's much better quality than I had initially anticipated. The fabric is a combination of polyester and cotton. So it is a bit rougher as a fabric but it's soft enough. The pillowcase also has a flap at the end to cover up the pillow 100% which I like a lot. Fit my Tempurpedic Queen size pillow perfectly.Overall, I would buy again for the price. It's a really cool idea, especially if you spend most of your time apart from your better half. I just wish Boldloft would make the same product at a higher price point, with better materials. I mean if we can afford plane tickets to see each other, I'm sure some of us are willing to drop more on a high thread count pillowcase and bed sheet set.Didn't think about it until we out them on bed but we sleep on the opposite side and my wife like the pillow cases with the ends the other way.I was hesitant to purchase bc im sappy but my husband...not so much! He’s a trucker so he’s gone most nights and he absolutely LOVES it! He wants it washed and put right back on when he comes in even for a few hours! And he’s not one to just say that!This is my second set of "love" pillow cases from BoldLoft. My husband purchased the first set as a gift to me (us), several years ago. But at the end of the week when I wash the sheets, there is a week where I don't have my love pillow cases so I bought this second set in February 2014 as part of a Valentine gift for my husband. Now I have love pillow cases 365 days a year because when I'm washing one set, I'm using the other. It's great!The first set has help up over several years and have been washed well over 100 times. They faded a tiny bit but that is to be expected. They have help up great and I recommend this as a fun gift for a new married couple (you have to find out who sleeps on what side of the bed first!) or for yourself and your partner. They are a standard softness, not rough, and for the amount of time they are lasting they are a great deal!The design is super cute and the two pillow cases align to make the design complete which is just so adorable.Only down point is the tissue is not as soft as I thought it would. This is for sure more of a decorative pillowcase than a pillowcase to actually sleep on.Mon conjoint et moi les adorons.
